Translution scanner integration into SysPro

If you are looking for a way to streamline your document management and translation processes, you might be interested in integrating Translution scanners into your SysPro system. Translution scanners are devices that can scan, digitize, and translate any paper document into any language, using advanced optical character recognition (OCR) and machine translation (MT) technologies. By integrating them into your SysPro system, you can automate the workflow of scanning, translating, and storing your documents in a secure and accessible cloud platform.

In this blog post, we will show you how to integrate Translution scanners into your SysPro system in a few simple steps. We will also discuss the benefits of this integration and some best practices for using Translution scanners effectively.

Step 1: Connect your Translution scanner to your network

The first step is to connect your Translution scanner to your network using an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Make sure that your scanner and your SysPro server are on the same network and that they have valid IP addresses. You can check the IP address of your scanner by pressing the Menu button and selecting Network Settings.

Step 2: Configure your Translution scanner settings

The next step is to configure your Translution scanner settings according to your preferences and needs. You can access the settings menu by pressing the Menu button and selecting Scanner Settings. Here, you can adjust the following options:

- Scan mode: Choose between single-sided or double-sided scanning.

- Scan resolution: Choose between 300 dpi or 600 dpi for better quality and accuracy.

- Scan format: Choose between PDF or JPEG for the output file format.

- Scan language: Choose the source language of the document you want to scan. You can select from over 100 languages supported by Translution scanners.

- Translate language: Choose the target language you want to translate the document into. You can select from over 100 languages supported by Translution scanners.

- Translate mode: Choose between online or offline translation. Online translation requires an internet connection and uses the latest MT models from Translution cloud. Offline translation does not require an internet connection and uses the built-in MT models from Translution scanner.

Step 3: Scan and translate your document

The final step is to scan and translate your document using your Translution scanner. To do this, simply load your document into the scanner feeder and press the Scan button. The scanner will automatically scan, digitize, and translate your document in seconds. You can view the translated document on the scanner screen or on your connected device.

Step 4: Store your document in SysPro

Once you have scanned and translated your document, you can store it in your SysPro system for easy access and management. To do this, you need to install the Translution connector for SysPro on your SysPro server. The connector is a software application that enables the communication between Translution scanners and SysPro system. You can download the connector from the Translution website or contact us for assistance.

After installing the connector, you need to configure it with your SysPro credentials and settings. You can access the connector interface by opening a web browser and typing http://localhost:8080/translution-connector in the address bar. Here, you can enter your SysPro username, password, company code, and server name. You can also specify the folder where you want to store your scanned documents in SysPro.

Once you have configured the connector, you can start sending your scanned documents to SysPro. To do this, simply press the Send button on your Translution scanner after scanning a document. The scanner will send the scanned document to the connector, which will then upload it to SysPro in the specified folder. You can view, edit, share, or print your scanned documents from SysPro as usual.
